about

Had just watched a documentary on Netflix about Muscle Shoals and the music that came out of that magical place, and wanted to write a country soul songs. Don't know how well I succeeded, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Shed this darkness for the light.

about

Scott Aycock Tulsa, Oklahoma

I am a singer/songwriter living in Tulsa Oklahoma.
This is my third CD release and the first one produced by my son, Jesse Aycock and featuring both of my sons playing on the record, so it was especially gratifying.
The writing of these songs and recording this record lifted me out of a dark place and made me so grateful to family and the healing power of music.
These songs celebrate hope.
